Judy A (Staley) Mallory

Judy A Mallory was born April 1, 1944 at the family home in Glen Elder Kansas to Henry & Beulah Luckey Staley.  She passed away December 13, 2021 at Salina Regional Health Center. She grew up mostly in Glen Elder, moving to Beloit right before high school. She worked at a very early age as a waitress and then later at Mitchell County Hospital.

She married Kenny Mallory on October 21st, 1962.  They had 1 daughter Brenda.  Judy's family later moved to Jewell where she worked at the Jewell Grocery Store, Jewell Elevator, the Jewell Methodist Church, and worked for Avon.  She later went back to Mitchell County Hospital until her husband Kenny got sick and then went back to the grocery store till retirement.  Judy loved seeing and visiting with people.  She enjoyed playing card games and yahtzee as well even with Brenda's friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Ralph, Florine McMillian, Robert, Jim, Richard, Ruth Mishler, Betty Eakin, Lila Bunch, Harold and her husband Kenny along with a brother and some sister-in-laws, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda (Darcy) Jensen, grandson Jon, and Chanel & great grandson Silas Jensen.

Visitation will be Friday December 17, 2021 at Kleppinger Funeral Home from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

Funeral Services will be Saturday December 18, 2021 at the Trinity United Methodist Church at 2:00pm with Pastor Jim Rice and Pastor Dan Daniels officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Wallace Cemetery, Jewell, KS.

Memorials are suggested to the Solomon Valley Hospice or American Heart Association.
