Janice S. Broadbent, Jewell, KS resident, died June 27, 2019 at the Resident Care Center, Beloit, KS at the age of 80. She was born August 13, 1938, the daughter of Morris Hipolite & Marjorie (Davidson) Hipolite. She was the retired owner of the Tasty Freeze at Jewell. Survivors include her husband: Jerry Broadbent - Jewell, KS; Terry Lee Broadbent & wife Brook - Overland Park, KS; Jay Dee Broadbent, Billings, MT; 4 grandchildren. Funeral Services are Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Jewell Christian Church. Visitation will be Monday, July 1, 2019 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Kleppinger Funeral Home, Jewell, KS. Memorials are to: Resident Care Center, Solomon Valley Transportation and Solomon Valley Hospice. Burial will be at the Jewell City Cemetery.
