Kleppinger Funeral Home location at 409 Broadway Street was established in 1906.  It has been a funeral home for over 100 years and serves Jewell and surrounding communities in their time of need. 

Stan & Ann Colson and Bruce Nutter bought the funeral home from Rose Kleppinger and the late Clyde Kleppinger in January 2004.  Mr. Nutter is the Funeral Director and embalmer, he also provides services at Nutter Mortuary in Concordia, Kansas.  Ann is the Assistant Funeral Director with her husband Stan assisting.  Stan & Ann Colson retired  as the Assistant Funeral Director and co-owners April 2018.  As the funeral home has always been a big part of their lives, Stan & Ann have agreed, if someone requests, their assistance they will be more than welcome to help if available.
